Situation

A well established energy provider sought guidance on creating a Succession Planning Tool for internal employees. Understanding more than 40% of the workforce would be engaged in a planned retirement scenario over the next 20 years and that the recession of 2008 left a unintentional 7 year gap in hiring, a thoughtful and directive plan was required.

Result

SeeKing HR provided a full assessment of the current workforce and assisted in the capability and capacity testing of all identified high-potential candidates.  Candidates were provided personalized development plans creating 18- and 36-month milestones.   Development plans included classroom instruction, self-study, research, presentations and stretch assignments in preparation of possible advancement
