Irene Harrington, President, Harrington Strategies, after a twenty-year career in the steel and materials distribution industries, became a Strategic Business Partner with Profiles International. She is now in her tenth year as a Partner and Regional Director.  In the role of helping organizations align for success, Harrington has worked with companies of all sizes to significantly improve their ability to hire and develop the most productive people. As President of Harrington Strategies, Harrington has demonstrated her ability to help clients enhance productivity and position their organizations for growth. Irene is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. She is experienced in customer relations, project management, quality improvements, product development, and technical service. Active in her professional and community organizations, Harrington is a member and Board Director of the San Antonio Human Resources Management Association, Inc. (2009 Immediate Past-President, 2008 President, 2007 President-Elect, 2006 Treasurer), member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), member of the SHRM Texas State Council (2009 District Director & Co-Director Collaborative Industry Alliances), member and Board Director of San Antonio Red Cross (2007-2008 Secretary), member of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and member of the San Antonio Manufacturer’s Association. She is a graduate of the 2005-2006 Masters Leadership Program of San Antonio.
